Former Royal Observation Corps Monitoring Post SW7248NE set in a triangular parcel of land measuring 0.15 acres approximately 2 miles from St Agnes.
There were 1563 Royal Observation Corps Monitoring Post constructed around Britain's coasts during the Cold War period. The standard design was a reinforced concrete bunker consisting of a 14ft access shaft, a toilet and a monitoring room. They were operated by volunteers who carried out a nuclear reporting role. All the monitoring posts were closed in 1991.
The St Agnes Royal Observation Corps Monitoring Post is set in a lovely rural position approximately 2 miles from the beautiful Cornish coast and the sought after village of St Agnes.
